Float / Wagon Pre-Registration for Floats 1-10 are $1,000, $800 for other Floats Pre-registration is 9:00 am - 10:00 am on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the Clubhouse.
This is the only time to register a Float - No Registrations on Sunday Morning
Line Up Starts @ Sunrise Past Saddle Tramp Club House on E Ebey Street towards Richard's Cajun Food Plant.
No Golf Carts / ATV's / 4-Wheelers / Mules etc. allowed during the All Day Parade
NO Double Decker Floats Allowed
You will now have to designate a Driver for Your Float / Unit, submit a printed photocopy of the Driver's License for the driver, a photocopy of your Automobile Insurance I.D. Card, and a Picture of Your Float with your Registration Packet.

Please print the form below [double click on Download File link below - this will download the Registration Form to your computer - then open the file which will allow you to Print the Form] fill it out and bring it, along with the other documentation, with you to the Line Up area to register your Unit.
The Parade Begins at the Intersection of Corporation Street and South Main Street near NAPA Auto Parts.
The Parade Route Ends at the Intersection of North Main Street and Rue Iry LeJeune.
The Church Point Police Department is responsible for Traffic Control during the Parade. Contact Church Point Police for Parade Exit Route @ (337) 684-5456
Float and Parade Rules
1. NO Double Deckers (a catwalk with a maximum height of 4 feet tall is permitted down the center of the float; see image below)
**You will not be permitted to participate if your float does not follow the guidelines. If you are questioning whether your float is approved, you can submit a picture to saddletrampridersclub@gmail.com for prior approval.
2. Registration Packet must be Completed and Submitted during Pre-Sign Up (Required Photocopies: Driver’s License, Insurance, Picture of Float)
3. Parade Permit/Placard Must be Displayed on Windshield Near Driver at All Times (Your Float will NOT be judged if this cannot be seen)
4. Drivers are Responsible for maintaining Order and Safety of the Float
5. No Vulgar or Explicit Music Allowed
6. No Profanity or Indecent Exposure
7. The Driver of Each Float will be subject to a Police Field Sobriety Test throughout the Courir/Parade.
8. NO Littering! (This does not include beads or approved throws!) *DO NOT dump your port-o-lets, or allow them to drain along the route!! Violators will be prosecuted for improper disposal of sewage; according to city, parish, and state laws! 9. NO GLASS Containers. (Open Container Law will be enforced within the city limits of Church Point)
10. Remain in Designated Order throughout the ENTIRE event.
11. Age-appropriate THROWS for Children ONLY. (NO Condoms, Undergarments, Jello-Shots, or Hazardous Materials i.e. glass, dirty diapers)
12. DO NOT harshly launch throws into the crowd. Please be cautious!
13. NO WEAPONS [You will be subject to A Search during the RUN.]
14. No Fighting. YOU WILL GO TO JAIL.
15. You Must STAY ON your FLOAT at all times.
16. Disobeying the Captain, Co-Captains, and Law Officers will result in being removed from the Run/Parade. No Refunds!
17. Anyone URINATING in Public will be subject to Arrest.
18. Anyone Seeming to be Out of Control or TOO Intimate will be removed from RUN and CONTAINED!
19. Underage Consumption of Alcohol is not allowed and will be enforced. We KINDLY Ask that all participants remain part of the Parade that goes through the town of Church Point on Main Street. They wait hours to see you…Please be a part of the ENTIRE event.
Review the brief Safe Towing Information & videos below. You must follow all of the State Laws Regarding the towing of your trailer. Make Certain all the lights are working and that the Safety Chains are in acceptable shape.
